Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookies!

I went on a baking spree yesterday afternoon and came up with these cookies - they may not be the prettiest biscuits in the world, but they taste so good that you wont mind what they look like! Peanut butter and chocolate is one of the best flavour combinations that has ever existed and this recipe combines the two in a sweet, nutty, crunchy cookie. They're super simple to make - you don't even need to weigh anything out (okay, you could weigh the butter, but its easy to eyeball it) - and I found all the ingredients in my cupboard so you can rustle them up to enjoy any time you fancy!

Ingredients:

16 tbsp plain flour
4 tbsp caster sugar
4 tbsp crunchy peanut butter
2 egg yolks
100g (about 2cm chunk) butter, softened
1 bag (100g) milk chocolate chips
4-5 tbsp milk

Makes 16-20 Cookies

Method:

1. Preheat oven to 180 degrees °C, line a large baking tray

2. Place flour, sugar, peanut butter, egg yolks, butter and chocolate chips into a large bowl and mix until combined. Add the milk a tablespoon at a time until the mixture comes together to form a smooth dough - you may not need to add all the milk to do this.

3. With lightly floured hands, break off small pieces of the dough and roll into small balls. Place on the baking tray and flatten. I like to leave them as they are, but if you're feeling fancy you can gently flatten them using the back of a fork to make a pattern in the dough.

4. Place in the oven and bake for 10-15 minutes, they'll be cooked when they turn slightly golden-brown.

5. Transfer to a wire rack to cool. To serve, dust with icing sugar and grab one quick - they won't last long!

If you do try these cookies please tweet me a picture @MillieIsMagic or Instagram me: millienorton1 - I'd love to see how they turn out for you!
